This charming
cabin was built in the 1920's by the original owner of the
property. It has been remodeled to provide the perfect blend
of modern conveniences with its original rustic charm. The
cabin is located at the back of the property and is set on
the hillside for an excellent view of the mountains and the
stream. There are two screened in porches and a large deck
to allow visitors to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Big
Thompson River. Hi-Speed Wireless Internet access is available
in all of our properties at no additional charge.
The main floor has
a living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom
and a large central wood-burning fireplace. Cable TV and a
DVD player are provided.
The kitchen is fully
equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator,
coffee maker, and toaster. A basic variety of cookware is
supplied and dinnerware for eight is furnished. If you have
a piece of cookware that you need to use to prepare something
special, it would be wise to bring it along.
The master bedroom
is located off the living room and includes a queen-sized
bed and a sofa sleeper. The room features a wood burning stove
and private entrance to the deck.
The bathroom has
an old fashioned tub, and the laundry room next door has a
shower stall and a stacked washer and dryer.
A wide-step ladder
leads from the living room to a loft that has three twin beds
with skylights overhead. There is also a bedroom located in
the loft with a double sized bed and window seat.
The decor, furnishings, etc. are a
reflection of the owner's taste and the type of vacation setting
they prefer. We rent it with the expectation that it will
be cared for as if you were a guest in a friend's home. |
